Casa Recovery Telehealth / Online Therapy for Mental Health and Substance use and abuse

Casa Recovery Virtual PHP & IOP

Over the last few weeks, we have all been challenged with the operational transitions needed to address this new landscape of care. As we all adapt to a time of social distancing, those struggling with mental health and substance use disorders are struggling more than ever. We are still here to support you, your clients and our community in providing an option for a higher level of care. Casa Recovery is taking every measure possible to keep our clients and staff safe as we continue to accept new clients and move to telehealth / online therapy services.

We have launched our seamless Telehealth PHP (Partial Hospitalization) & IOP (Intensive Outpatient) Programs for Mental Health, Substance Use, and Co-Occurring Disorders for adults (18+) using our HIPAA-compliant video conferencing platform (Zoom) and 360° smart video conferencing cameras (Owl).

Since the global pandemic of the COVID-19 outbreak, many of us have chosen to quarantine in our homes. In a time of great uncertainty, loneliness, and self-isolation any one of us can be experiencing a range of emotions and feelings including anxiety and depression. It is important to recognize when your anxiety turns into panic, you may experience intense feelings of fear, impending doom, racing heart, weakness, or even numbness. Whenever these feelings or symptoms become overwhelming and lead to an inability to continue normal daily routines, an anxiety or panic disorder may be the cause. Anxiety and panic disorders can also occur in combination with other mental health conditions like substance use or depression, which can make conditions worse. Reach out for help if your feelings are unmanageable. Casa Recovery’s professionally licensed therapists and counselors can help you.

Overwhelming feelings of sadness, loneliness or depression, especially for a long period of time can lead to ongoing physical symptoms and prevent you from leading a normal, active, and fulfilling life. Untreated depression can lead to feelings of hopelessness or helplessness, insomnia, as well as suicidal thoughts or attempts. Depression can be caused by many things, including drug or alcohol use, long-term anxiety, trauma or ADHD. If you think you are depressed, don’t tough it out, seek help. There are solutions, and we can help. If you or someone you know show any warning signs of depression, please call us at 888-928-2272.

Along with Anxiety and Depression, another common mental health condition we treat at Casa Recovery is Trauma including Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Adjustment Disorder. Many of us have experienced trauma throughout our lives, but if you are struggling to cope, have an inability to express emotion, and are having feelings of helplessness, seeking help is important. Although there is no quick fix or cure for those suffering from trauma-related symptoms, a wide range of individual therapies including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) have proven to be effective in offering relief. In a small group setting, trauma-focused and trauma-informed process groups offer a safe space to find hope and reconnect with the support of peers. In the treatment of trauma, Casa Recovery also utilizes somatic therapies that incorporate a body approach to processing unresolved traumatic memories and events. Holistic therapies also used in the treatment of trauma include mindfulness, meditation, trauma-sensitive yoga, and art therapy. All of these services are included in Casa Recovery’s treatment programs and are offered through telehealth and online therapy. If you are experiencing any symptoms of trauma and are looking for help, please give us a call.

Through a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform, Casa Recovery offers individual therapy, small group therapy, evidence-based therapies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), experiential therapies, holistic services, and medication management accessible seamlessly in the comfort of your home. Casa Recovery treatment programs are individualized to ensure you get the help you need and find success in your healing and recovery.
